Iran-India flick ‘The Devil’s Daughter’ starts filming 2 Indian stars

Joint production of Iran and India ‘The Devil’s Daughter’ starts filming Indian stars Gulshan Grover and Jackie Shroff.

According to a Wednesday media report, Grover and Shroff  are currently shooting for the flick at the helm of Iranian director Ghorban Mohammadpour.

Mohammadpour’s second project in India comes as his maiden attempt ‘Salaam Mumbai’ grabbed a great deal of attention in India as well as becoming a box-office hit in Iran.

Esha Gupta who plays the title role in ‘The Devil’s Daughter’ was also quoted by media as saying, “I’m honoured to have the opportunity to collaborate with a director like Ghorban Mohammadpour."

She adds, “I’ve admired his films and now I get to work with him. This is surreal. It’s such privilege to be part of the Iranian film industry.”

Iran famed actor Hamid Farokh-Nejad also plays a starring role in the flick.
